JAEHEE

Jaehee (재희), born Kim Dae-young (김대영) on June 21, 2005, is a South Korean singer from Daegu, South Korea. He is the main vocalist of NCT WISH, a six-member boy group under SM Entertainment and the final sub-unit of NCT. Jaehee was discovered by SM Entertainment after a video showcasing his singing abilities attracted the company's attention. Following a remarkably short training period of approximately three months, he joined the pre-debut reality competition NCT Universe: LASTART in 2023. Despite entering the competition later than the other contestants, he impressed audiences with his vocal abilities and placed third in the final selection, securing his position in the group's debut lineup. Initially introduced under his birth name, Daeyoung, he adopted the stage name Jaehee in January 2024. He officially debuted with NCT WISH on February 21, 2024, during SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMCU PALACE @TOKYO at Tokyo Dome. Recognized for his powerful vocals, impressive range, and ability to deliver both soaring high notes and expressive melodies, Jaehee plays a central role in shaping NCT WISH's musical identity. His warm personality and confident stage presence complement his distinctive vocal style, bringing depth and emotion to the group's performances. Through music releases, concert tours, and international activities, he continues to develop his artistry as a vocalist across South Korea, Japan, and beyond.
